"Bankers United for Growth, Dignity, and Justice”
🔴 *K.Y.U. – KNOW YOUR UNION* 🔴
As “KYC” means Know Your Customer, KYU means Know Your Union — and it matters now more than ever.
AIBOBOU has always stood boldly for officers’ rights:
✔ Humane transfers
✔ Work–life balance
✔ Fair promotion opportunities and playfield
✔ Legal & organisational support
✔ Dignity at workplace
But strength comes only when officers officially enrol.
📌 Being in a WhatsApp group *≠* Union membership.
📌 Your voice counts only when it is recorded.
👉 Go to HR CONNECT → Union Membership → Select “All India Bank of Baroda Officers’ Union (AIBOBOU)”
Be counted ! Be empowered ! Be Unionised !
AIBOBOU – Vibrant, Vocal, and United for Growth, Dignity & Justice.
📢 AIBOBOU Welcomes Local Bank Officers (LBO) Recruitment!
We appreciate the Bank’s forward-looking move to recruit Local Bank Officers (LBOs) with language proficiency and state-wise placement. This strengthens:
* Better customer service
* Localised staffing stability
* Reduced forced mobility & family hardship
* Higher morale and community connect
The LBO structure clearly supports our long-standing stand: Officers perform best when rooted locally.
👉 We urge the Bank to formalise:
1️⃣ A No Inter-Zone Transfer Policy (except on request)
2️⃣ Local Employment – Local Posting across cadres
3️⃣ Consultation with recognised unions as the LBO model expands.
A progressive step toward dignity, stability, and harmonious industrial relations.

BREAKING NEWS: Bank HRM Circular No. BOB:BR:117:032 (18.11.2025) reportedly discovers a new DISCIPLINARY CONDUCT —
🔍 Staff asking for internal information through RTI = *“Serious Deviation.”
So basically:
Internal information = Deviation and Misconduct
External information = Chill.
RTI for Banks own Information = NO.
RTI outside the bank = Please go right ahead.
For Banks Internal Information right to NASA
In that spirit, may the Bank kindly process my humble RTI request:
🌧️ “Rainfall recorded during the year 2025 in every city where the Bank has branches.”
— because apparently THAT is the only ‘safe’ information left to ask for.
#RTI #Bankofbaroda
#RightToInformation #Didyouknow
🔴 CONTRACTUAL RECRUITMENT, WE OPPOSE 🔴
We strongly oppose the sudden move to hire outsiders on contract for senior posts while capable BOB officers are ignored.
❗ Key Questions
Why bypass internal talent & promotions?
Why no consultation with recognised unions?
Why outsource leadership when branches are understaffed?
📢 Our Demand
✔ Immediate review of the decision
✔ Transparency & dialogue
✔ Protect internal career growth
BoB grew through officers groomed from within — not contract imports.

🚨 NOVEMBER: WELLNESS MONTH
*✨ Meditation posters outside. Mental devastation inside."*
At the grand reception of Vijaya Towers, Bangalore, the Bank proudly displays a beautiful flex banner celebrating “November – The Wellness Month”, preaching care, positivity and employee well-being.
Meanwhile…
In Bengaluru South Region, on 14.11.2025, officers were kept in a “review meeting” till 11:40 PM — Yes, You heard it right. *11.40 PM* And again the very next day, officers were still stuck till 8 PM in another review session with no regard for families, safety, sanity or basic human dignity
The irony writes itself:
🧘 “Corporate wellness”: Yoga mats and posters
💣 “Ground reality”: Fear, pressure, coercion, and toxic work culture
👩⚕️ Mental Health Awareness
vs.
🔔 “Join the late-night review call, or we’ll remember it in your appraisal.”
We ask:
* If wellness is the theme, why was November turned into a National Burnout Month?
* If mental health matters, why are officers being treated like they have no lives beyond the office?
* If safety is a priority, why are staff leaving office past midnight just to justify someone else’s targets?
✊ This is not leadership.
This is harassment in the name of reviews — and we strongly protest this hypocrisy and inhuman culture.
Wellness is not a banner.
Wellness is respecting time, dignity and human limits.
🎭 “Mission CKYC: Compliance Killing Your Calm 🎭
Barodians these days don’t need gym memberships.
Their daily workout includes:
Lifting files 📁
Racing against CBS timeouts 🏃♂️💨
And flexing patience while CKYC portal says “Please wait…” since 6:45 PM 😭
When the system says “Day-End Restricted”, officers whisper,
> “Day-end toh gaya… ab life-end mat kar bhagwan!” 🙏
The new-age Barodian superhero doesn’t wear a cape —
He carries a mouse, a power bank, and a hope that the CKYC server doesn’t go for dinner before he does. 🍱
Work-life balance?
More like Work-life ban list, because CKYC ne bhi kaha —
> “Compliance before comfort.” 😅
✨ Moral of the story:
If late sittings solved compliance, India would top the global CKYC index.
Time to replace coercion with coordination — and Excel stress with human sense!

The All India Bank of Baroda Officers’ Union (AIBOBOU) has urged a vigilance-cum-compliance enquiry into the “ESCORT Scheme” facilitated through the Bank’s HR-Connect platform.
🔍 The Union highlights:
• Salary deductions routed via HR-Connect to an association-run fund with ₹4 crore surplus and no public audit
• No opt-out option for members — “irrevocable authorization” violates free-consent principles
💬 “A welfare scheme cannot operate in secrecy or without oversight. Transparency is non-negotiable.” — AIBOBOU
When neutrality takes a coffee break and consent is on auto-fill ☕
AIBOBOU raises a sharp eyebrow at HR’s “auto-enrollment” magic — where officers join the Bank and accidentally join an association too.
Because who needs choice when a tick-box already decided for you? 😏
